It tells the story of Benjamin Barker, a barber who returns to London under the name Sweeney Todd after being wrongfully imprisoned. Seeking revenge against the corrupt Judge Turpin who destroyed his life and family, Todd opens a barber shop above Mrs. Lovett’s pie shop. As his thirst for vengeance grows, the two hatch a gruesome plan: Todd kills his customers, and Mrs. Lovett bakes them into her meat pies - leading to both culinary success and horrifying consequences.
