Jamie and Lee thought of the idea of starting a band. These were the days before Jay's voice broke which some could of compared vocally to mika! Check out 'Speshuls' myspace for evidence Hmm! Fortunatly Jay became a man an decided to recruit Sam(The Younger brother of jamie) followed by The Machine A.K.A Ben Price/Windy Ben/ Benj etc etc....Anyway they spent some more time filling the corridors of ilkeston school with music as a four piece before deciding to add Adam(Contacting him asking him to join 3 days before a gig). 3 days of intense practise followed and they were ready for their first gig. After a year spent hiding in a cellar The Cassettes have decided to let their material loose throughout Nottingham and Derby, so why don't you check our gig listing and pay us a visit, also guaranteed to playing with some of finest local talent which has already included, 'The Jet Boys', 'Censored', 'The Mighty Kustoms'(Actually called 'The Kustoms'), 'Shoot The Poets', 'TabloidLOVE' and many more mind blowing acts!
