Re-opened in August 2004 after a major refurbishment The Peacock is a Coaching Inn styled pub which attracts a good mix of ages. Regulars and visitors are able to enjoy their favourite drink and have a chat in a trouble free environment. Just 2 miles from the city centre, The Peacock is centrally located in Clifton and easily accessible by car or public transport. Drinks are available from an extensive bar with cask ales on offer along with a good range of lagers and ciders. There is a separate lounge and bar area with different styles. The lounge bar plays 60 / 70's chilled out soul background music. The bar, which has it's own juke box, plays a good mix of modern popular hits. Regular entertainment is held at the Peacock with live acts at the weekends and a quiz night every Wednesday. As well as all this we have activities to enjoy whilst relaxing with a pint including having a game of pool, darts or dominoes. Sky Sports are available and we show major pay per view matches on the massive 8 foot screen. As we are an adult only pub you won't be tripping over children!
