The Fox at Kirton re-opens Monday 8th February under the new ownership of Andy McCulloch & Joy Ellicott.

Joy & Andy originate from Mansfield but have spent the last 15 years runing pubs, restaurants and hotels in both the UK and Australia. They are delighted to be back in Nottinghamshire close to family & friends.

With the help of Deputy Manager Mike Rann and Head Chef James Pristley we aim to serve sensational food in a traditional village pub environment, whether it be a casual lunch with friends or a more formal celebratory dinner.

We are not just all about the food !!!

Although our food is brilliant, coming to see us for a beer or glass of wine is just as important to us. We are open all day so are the perfect location to meet friends for after work drinks, especially on Thirsty Thursdays or Feel Good Friday's

Live Music...

Friday nights we will entertain you with the areas finest acoustic musicians. With our strict ' no backing track' policy, we can assure you only the best musicians and no cheesy club singers. The set will start at 9pm with the bar closing at midnight. We look forward to announcing our line up in the near future.

Sunday Night Quiz...

No great pub can go without a weekly quiz night. So Sunday night from 9pm we will deliver the finest pub quiz in the area. £1 per person entry fee ensures a great cash prize for the winner. Spot prizes will be given out throughout the evening so its not about the winning its all about the taking part. The night finishes with a mystery envelope draw with an accumulating cash prize, a free supper will also be served during the quiz..
