Kelham Hall & Country Park is a beautiful Victorian stately home located in the Trent Valley and nestling within 44 acres of stunning parkland.
Kelham Hall’s Big Vintage Festival is back – and this year with a very big difference.
On the 5 March the grandiose venue, just outside of Newark will be hosting a remarkable vintage occasion. From 10:30 – 4:30 vintage lovers can enjoy purveying an eclectic mix of authentic vintage and vintage inspired stalls, tap their feet to fabulous vintage DJs, relax in the pop up cinema showing classic films throughout the day, join the demonstration village where there will be extra food outlets, workshops and talks – alongside live music.
At Britain Does Vintage we know that shopping can be tiring work – so why not book your slot at our quintessential vintage tearoom supplied by the venue! After all, catching up with family and friends is always done best over a spot of tea and cake!
Come 7pm – the doors will reopen for what will be a vibrant evening of live music – including The Hotsie Toties who have featured at Twinwood and Goodwood revival and the main act of the evening – Katrina – formerly from Katrina and The Waves who will be singing her chart hits including Walking on Sunshine.
Katrina, Former lead singer from the Grammy nominated band, Katrina and The Waves, has experienced great success over decades – including top ten hits around the globe with Walking on Sunshine, winning the 1997 Eurovision with the greatest ever lead with ‘Love Shine and Light’ and has gone onto producing various solo albums, with her most recent being released in 2015 which she toured South Africa and North America with.
Wondering what to wear for such an occasion? Out with the new and in with the old is Britain Does Vintage’s favourite saying – so why not treat yourself to 50s dresses, 60s headpieces, 70s leggings and 80s jackets and get glammed up for a wonderful evening which will take you back decades!
