RIP IT UP AT PJ's
Rip It Up! is an original live music night, launched in October 2009, and held at PJ's in Ripley. Yes, Ripley...you may have heard of it. Ten miles north of Derby it is, give or take a few yards. Not known for its live music I'll grant you. But don't let that put you off.... We are looking for local artists to be involved and also hope to include bands and solo acts from further afield. If you'd like to play get in touch with us. we have a great little stage, full PROFESSIONAL PA and lighting will be provided along with a sound engineer. All you have to do is turn up and plug in! We will help with your expenses where we can. We will also record your set (if you so wish!) and you will get the chance to contribute a track (live or studio) to one of our compilation CD's which we give away free at our gigs! We are now almost fully booked up until June next year, as the response has been incredible - but occasionally we get bands drop out so we may offer you a gig sooner if we can find you one. We have some amazing acts booked and it would be great to see you come and give your support to watch the shows...remember all gigs are FREE ENTRY!
