The Civic Centre is a community building that is overseen by Trustees. Trustees have a responsibility to employ the right management team to help them on a day to day basis of maintaining the building, from the manager to the caretaker everyone has a part to help the Centre to survive in this economical difficult time. Anyone can be a trustee but have to have the drive of helping to keep the building solvent and running efficiently.
The Centre [formally the old Village Hall] underwent a £1.2m facelift in 2002 to create a modern state-of-the-art; multi-purpose community building that is one of the largest of its kind in Nottinghamshire.
The Civic Centre has various sized rooms that can be organized to suit various events and is fully licensed to sell alcohol and is therefore ideal for weddings, christenings, parties, wakes, presentations and meetings etc. We also have ample parking at the rear and disabled access. Our staff will assist you in planning your event to help provide a smooth and memorable occasion.
